{"surah" : 51, "verses" : [{"a" : 1, "ar" : "وَٱلذَّٰرِيَٰتِ ذَرْوًۭا", "en" : "By those [winds] scattering [dust] dispersing"}, {"a" : 2, "ar" : "فَٱلْحَٰمِلَٰتِ وِقْرًۭا", "en" : "And those [clouds] carrying a load [of water]"}, {"a" : 3, "ar" : "فَٱلْجَٰرِيَٰتِ يُسْرًۭا", "en" : "And those [ships] sailing with ease"}, {"a" : 4, "ar" : "فَٱلْمُقَسِّمَٰتِ أَمْرًا", "en" : "And those [angels] apportioning [each] matter,"}, {"a" : 5, "ar" : "إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَصَادِقٌۭ", "en" : "Indeed, what you are promised is true."}, {"a" : 6, "ar" : "وَإِنَّ ٱلدِّينَ لَوَٰقِعٌۭ", "en" : "And indeed, the recompense is to occur."}, {"a" : 7, "ar" : "وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلْحُبُكِ", "en" : "By the heaven containing pathways,"}, {"a" : 8, "ar" : "إِنَّكُمْ لَفِى قَوْلٍۢ مُّخْتَلِفٍۢ", "en" : "Indeed, you are in differing speech."}, {"a" : 9, "ar" : "يُؤْفَكُ عَنْهُ مَنْ أُفِكَ", "en" : "Deluded away from the Qur'an is he who is deluded."}, {"a" : 10, "ar" : "قُتِلَ ٱلْخَرَّٰصُونَ", "en" : "Destroyed are the falsifiers"}, {"a" : 11, "ar" : "ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ فِى غَمْرَةٍۢ سَاهُونَ", "en" : "Who are within a flood [of confusion] and heedless."}, {"a" : 12, "ar" : "يَسْـَٔلُونَ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ", "en" : "They ask, \"When is the Day of Recompense?\""}, {"a" : 13, "ar" : "يَوْمَ هُمْ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ يُفْتَنُونَ", "en" : "[It is] the Day they will be tormented over the Fire"}, {"a" : 14, "ar" : "ذُوقُوا۟ فِتْنَتَكُمْ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ", "en" : "[And will be told], \"Taste your torment. This is that for which you were impatient.\""}, {"a" : 15, "ar" : "إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى جَنَّٰتٍۢ وَعُيُونٍ", "en" : "Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and springs,"}, {"a" : 16, "ar" : "ءَاخِذِينَ مَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَبْلَ ذَٰلِكَ مُحْسِنِينَ", "en" : "Accepting what their Lord has given them. Indeed, they were before that doers of good."}, {"a" : 17, "ar" : "كَانُوا۟ قَلِيلًۭا مِّنَ ٱلَّيْلِ مَا يَهْجَعُونَ", "en" : "They used to sleep but little of the night,"}, {"a" : 18, "ar" : "وَبِٱلْأَسْحَارِ هُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ", "en" : "And in the hours before dawn they would ask forgiveness,"}, {"a" : 19, "ar" : "وَفِىٓ أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ حَقٌّۭ لِّلسَّآئِلِ وَٱلْمَحْرُومِ", "en" : "And from their properties was [given] the right of the [needy] petitioner and the deprived."}, {"a" : 20, "ar" : "وَفِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ءَايَٰتٌۭ لِّلْمُوقِنِينَ", "en" : "And on the earth are signs for the certain [in faith]"}, {"a" : 21, "ar" : "وَفِىٓ أَنفُسِكُمْ ۚ أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ", "en" : "And in yourselves. Then will you not see?"}, {"a" : 22, "ar" : "وَفِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ رِزْقُكُمْ وَمَا تُوعَدُونَ", "en" : "And in the heaven is your provision and whatever you are promised."}, {"a" : 23, "ar" : "فَوَرَبِّ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ إِنَّهُۥ لَحَقٌّۭ مِّثْلَ مَآ أَنَّكُمْ تَنطِقُونَ", "en" : "Then by the Lord of the heaven and earth, indeed, it is truth - just as [sure as] it is that you are speaking."}, {"a" : 24, "ar" : "هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ضَيْفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ ٱلْمُكْرَمِينَ", "en" : "Has there reached you the story of the honored guests of Abraham? -"}, {"a" : 25, "ar" : "إِذْ دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُوا۟ سَلَٰمًۭا ۖ قَالَ سَلَٰمٌۭ قَوْمٌۭ مُّنكَرُونَ", "en" : "When they entered upon him and said, \"[We greet you with] peace.\" He answered, \"[And upon you] peace, [you are] a people unknown."}, {"a" : 26, "ar" : "فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِۦ فَجَآءَ بِعِجْلٍۢ سَمِينٍۢ", "en" : "Then he went to his family and came with a fat [roasted] calf"}, {"a" : 27, "ar" : "فَقَرَّبَهُۥٓ إِلَيْهِمْ قَالَ أَلَا تَأْكُلُونَ", "en" : "And placed it near them; he said, \"Will you not eat?\""}, {"a" : 28, "ar" : "فَأَوْجَسَ مِنْهُمْ خِيفَةًۭ ۖ قَالُوا۟ لَا تَخَفْ ۖ وَبَشَّرُوهُ بِغُلَٰمٍ عَلِيمٍۢ", "en" : "And he felt from them apprehension. They said, \"Fear not,\" and gave him good tidings of a learned boy."}, {"a" : 29, "ar" : "فَأَقْبَلَتِ ٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ فِى صَرَّةٍۢ فَصَكَّتْ وَجْهَهَا وَقَالَتْ عَجُوزٌ عَقِيمٌۭ", "en" : "And his wife approached with a cry [of alarm] and struck her face and said, \"[I am] a barren old woman!\""}, {"a" : 30, "ar" : "قَالُوا۟ كَذَٰلِكِ قَالَ رَبُّكِ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ", "en" : "They said, \"Thus has said your Lord; indeed, He is the Wise, the Knowing.\""}, {"a" : 31, "ar" : "۞ قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكُمْ أَيُّهَا ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ", "en" : "[Abraham] said, \"Then what is your business [here], O messengers?\""}, {"a" : 32, "ar" : "قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّآ أُرْسِلْنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوْمٍۢ مُّجْرِمِينَ", "en" : "They said, \"Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals"}, {"a" : 33, "ar" : "لِنُرْسِلَ عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةًۭ مِّن طِينٍۢ", "en" : "To send down upon them stones of clay,"}, {"a" : 34, "ar" : "مُّسَوَّمَةً عِندَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُسْرِفِينَ", "en" : "Marked in the presence of your Lord for the transgressors.\""}, {"a" : 35, "ar" : "فَأَخْرَجْنَا مَن كَانَ فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ", "en" : "So We brought out whoever was in the cities of the believers."}, {"a" : 36, "ar" : "فَمَا وَجَدْنَا فِيهَا غَيْرَ بَيْتٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ", "en" : "And We found not within them other than a [single] house of Muslims."}, {"a" : 37, "ar" : "وَتَرَكْنَا فِيهَآ ءَايَةًۭ لِّلَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ ٱلْعَذَابَ ٱلْأَلِيمَ", "en" : "And We left therein a sign for those who fear the painful punishment."}, {"a" : 38, "ar" : "وَفِى مُوسَىٰٓ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَٰهُ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ بِسُلْطَٰنٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ", "en" : "And in Moses [was a sign], when We sent him to Pharaoh with clear authority."}, {"a" : 39, "ar" : "فَتَوَلَّىٰ بِرُكْنِهِۦ وَقَالَ سَٰحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌۭ", "en" : "But he turned away with his supporters and said,\" A magician or a madman.\""}, {"a" : 40, "ar" : "فَأَخَذْنَٰهُ وَجُنُودَهُۥ فَنَبَذْنَٰهُمْ فِى ٱلْيَمِّ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٌۭ", "en" : "So We took him and his soldiers and cast them into the sea, and he was blameworthy."}, {"a" : 41, "ar" : "وَفِى عَادٍ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلرِّيحَ ٱلْعَقِيمَ", "en" : "And in 'Aad [was a sign], when We sent against them the barren wind."}, {"a" : 42, "ar" : "مَا تَذَرُ مِن شَىْءٍ أَتَتْ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا جَعَلَتْهُ كَٱلرَّمِيمِ", "en" : "It left nothing of what it came upon but that it made it like disintegrated ruins."}, {"a" : 43, "ar" : "وَفِى ثَمُودَ إِذْ قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَمَتَّعُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍۢ", "en" : "And in Thamud, when it was said to them, \"Enjoy yourselves for a time.\""}, {"a" : 44, "ar" : "فَعَتَوْا۟ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلصَّٰعِقَةُ وَهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ", "en" : "But they were insolent toward the command of their Lord, so the thunderbolt seized them while they were looking on."}, {"a" : 45, "ar" : "فَمَا ٱسْتَطَٰعُوا۟ مِن قِيَامٍۢ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُنتَصِرِينَ", "en" : "And they were unable to arise, nor could they defend themselves."}, {"a" : 46, "ar" : "وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍۢ مِّن قَبْلُ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَوْمًۭا فَٰسِقِينَ", "en" : "And [We destroyed] the people of Noah before; indeed, they were a people defiantly disobedient."}, {"a" : 47, "ar" : "وَٱلسَّمَآءَ بَنَيْنَٰهَا بِأَيْي۟دٍۢ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ", "en" : "And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [its] expander."}, {"a" : 48, "ar" : "وَٱلْأَرْضَ فَرَشْنَٰهَا فَنِعْمَ ٱلْمَٰهِدُونَ", "en" : "And the earth We have spread out, and excellent is the preparer."}, {"a" : 49, "ar" : "وَمِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍ خَلَقْنَا زَوْجَيْنِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ", "en" : "And of all things We created two mates; perhaps you will remember."}, {"a" : 50, "ar" : "فَفِرُّوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ ۖ إِنِّى لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ", "en" : "So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner."}, {"a" : 51, "ar" : "وَلَا تَجْعَلُوا۟ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ ۖ إِنِّى لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ", "en" : "And do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner."}, {"a" : 52, "ar" : "كَذَٰلِكَ مَآ أَتَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا قَالُوا۟ سَاحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌ", "en" : "Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, \"A magician or a madman.\""}, {"a" : 53, "ar" : "أَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِهِۦ ۚ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌۭ طَاغُونَ", "en" : "Did they suggest it to them? Rather, they [themselves] are a transgressing people."}, {"a" : 54, "ar" : "فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ فَمَآ أَنتَ بِمَلُومٍۢ", "en" : "So leave them, [O Muhammad], for you are not to be blamed."}, {"a" : 55, "ar" : "وَذَكِّرْ فَإِنَّ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ تَنفَعُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ", "en" : "And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers."}, {"a" : 56, "ar" : "وَمَا خَلَقْتُ ٱلْجِنَّ وَٱلْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ", "en" : "And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me."}, {"a" : 57, "ar" : "مَآ أُرِيدُ مِنْهُم مِّن رِّزْقٍۢ وَمَآ أُرِيدُ أَن يُطْعِمُونِ", "en" : "I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me."}, {"a" : 58, "ar" : "إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلرَّزَّاقُ ذُو ٱلْقُوَّةِ ٱلْمَتِينُ", "en" : "Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength."}, {"a" : 59, "ar" : "فَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ ذَنُوبًۭا مِّثْلَ ذَنُوبِ أَصْحَٰبِهِمْ فَلَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونِ", "en" : "And indeed, for those who have wronged is a portion [of punishment] like the portion of their predecessors, so let them not impatiently urge Me."}, {"a" : 60, "ar" : "فَوَيْلٌۭ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن يَوْمِهِمُ ٱلَّذِى يُوعَدُونَ", "en" : "And woe to those who have disbelieved from their Day which they are promised."}]}
