{"surah" : 75, "verses" : [{"a" : 1, "ar" : "لَآ أُقْسِمُ بِيَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ", "en" : "I swear by the Day of Resurrection"}, {"a" : 2, "ar" : "وَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِٱلنَّفْسِ ٱللَّوَّامَةِ", "en" : "And I swear by the reproaching soul [to the certainty of resurrection]."}, {"a" : 3, "ar" : "أَيَحْسَبُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ أَلَّن نَّجْمَعَ عِظَامَهُۥ", "en" : "Does man think that We will not assemble his bones?"}, {"a" : 4, "ar" : "بَلَىٰ قَٰدِرِينَ عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّسَوِّىَ بَنَانَهُۥ", "en" : "Yes. [We are] Able [even] to proportion his fingertips."}, {"a" : 5, "ar" : "بَلْ يُرِيدُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ لِيَفْجُرَ أَمَامَهُۥ", "en" : "But man desires to continue in sin."}, {"a" : 6, "ar" : "يَسْـَٔلُ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ", "en" : "He asks, \"When is the Day of Resurrection?\""}, {"a" : 7, "ar" : "فَإِذَا بَرِقَ ٱلْبَصَرُ", "en" : "So when vision is dazzled"}, {"a" : 8, "ar" : "وَخَسَفَ ٱلْقَمَرُ", "en" : "And the moon darkens"}, {"a" : 9, "ar" : "وَجُمِعَ ٱلشَّمْسُ وَٱلْقَمَرُ", "en" : "And the sun and the moon are joined,"}, {"a" : 10, "ar" : "يَقُولُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَيْنَ ٱلْمَفَرُّ", "en" : "Man will say on that Day, \"Where is the [place of] escape?\""}, {"a" : 11, "ar" : "كَلَّا لَا وَزَرَ", "en" : "No! There is no refuge."}, {"a" : 12, "ar" : "إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْمُسْتَقَرُّ", "en" : "To your Lord, that Day, is the [place of] permanence."}, {"a" : 13, "ar" : "يُنَبَّؤُا۟ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ يَوْمَئِذٍۭ بِمَا قَدَّمَ وَأَخَّرَ", "en" : "Man will be informed that Day of what he sent ahead and kept back."}, {"a" : 14, "ar" : "بَلِ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِۦ بَصِيرَةٌۭ", "en" : "Rather, man, against himself, will be a witness,"}, {"a" : 15, "ar" : "وَلَوْ أَلْقَىٰ مَعَاذِيرَهُۥ", "en" : "Even if he presents his excuses."}, {"a" : 16, "ar" : "لَا تُحَرِّكْ بِهِۦ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعْجَلَ بِهِۦٓ", "en" : "Move not your tongue with it, [O Muhammad], to hasten with recitation of the Qur'an."}, {"a" : 17, "ar" : "إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا جَمْعَهُۥ وَقُرْءَانَهُۥ", "en" : "Indeed, upon Us is its collection [in your heart] and [to make possible] its recitation."}, {"a" : 18, "ar" : "فَإِذَا قَرَأْنَٰهُ فَٱتَّبِعْ قُرْءَانَهُۥ", "en" : "So when We have recited it [through Gabriel], then follow its recitation."}, {"a" : 19, "ar" : "ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا بَيَانَهُۥ", "en" : "Then upon Us is its clarification [to you]."}, {"a" : 20, "ar" : "كَلَّا بَلْ تُحِبُّونَ ٱلْعَاجِلَةَ", "en" : "No! But you love the immediate"}, {"a" : 21, "ar" : "وَتَذَرُونَ ٱلْءَاخِرَةَ", "en" : "And leave the Hereafter."}, {"a" : 22, "ar" : "وُجُوهٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ نَّاضِرَةٌ", "en" : "[Some] faces, that Day, will be radiant,"}, {"a" : 23, "ar" : "إِلَىٰ رَبِّهَا نَاظِرَةٌۭ", "en" : "Looking at their Lord."}, {"a" : 24, "ar" : "وَوُجُوهٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۭ بَاسِرَةٌۭ", "en" : "And [some] faces, that Day, will be contorted,"}, {"a" : 25, "ar" : "تَظُنُّ أَن يُفْعَلَ بِهَا فَاقِرَةٌۭ", "en" : "Expecting that there will be done to them [something] backbreaking."}, {"a" : 26, "ar" : "كَلَّآ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ ٱلتَّرَاقِىَ", "en" : "No! When the soul has reached the collar bones"}, {"a" : 27, "ar" : "وَقِيلَ مَنْ ۜ رَاقٍۢ", "en" : "And it is said, \"Who will cure [him]?\""}, {"a" : 28, "ar" : "وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ ٱلْفِرَاقُ", "en" : "And the dying one is certain that it is the [time of] separation"}, {"a" : 29, "ar" : "وَٱلْتَفَّتِ ٱلسَّاقُ بِٱلسَّاقِ", "en" : "And the leg is wound about the leg,"}, {"a" : 30, "ar" : "إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْمَسَاقُ", "en" : "To your Lord, that Day, will be the procession."}, {"a" : 31, "ar" : "فَلَا صَدَّقَ وَلَا صَلَّىٰ", "en" : "And the disbeliever had not believed, nor had he prayed."}, {"a" : 32, "ar" : "وَلَٰكِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ", "en" : "But [instead], he denied and turned away."}, {"a" : 33, "ar" : "ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِۦ يَتَمَطَّىٰٓ", "en" : "And then he went to his people, swaggering [in pride]."}, {"a" : 34, "ar" : "أَوْلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوْلَىٰ", "en" : "Woe to you, and woe!"}, {"a" : 35, "ar" : "ثُمَّ أَوْلَىٰ لَكَ فَأَوْلَىٰٓ", "en" : "Then woe to you, and woe!"}, {"a" : 36, "ar" : "أَيَحْسَبُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ أَن يُتْرَكَ سُدًى", "en" : "Does man think that he will be left neglected?"}, {"a" : 37, "ar" : "أَلَمْ يَكُ نُطْفَةًۭ مِّن مَّنِىٍّۢ يُمْنَىٰ", "en" : "Had he not been a sperm from semen emitted?"}, {"a" : 38, "ar" : "ثُمَّ كَانَ عَلَقَةًۭ فَخَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ", "en" : "Then he was a clinging clot, and [Allah] created [his form] and proportioned [him]"}, {"a" : 39, "ar" : "فَجَعَلَ مِنْهُ ٱلزَّوْجَيْنِ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلْأُنثَىٰٓ", "en" : "And made of him two mates, the male and the female."}, {"a" : 40, "ar" : "أَلَيْسَ ذَٰلِكَ بِقَٰدِرٍ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يُحْۦِىَ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ", "en" : "Is not that [Creator] Able to give life to the dead?"}]}
