{"surah" : 91, "verses" : [{"a" : 1, "ar" : "وَٱلشَّمْسِ وَضُحَىٰهَا", "en" : "By the sun and its brightness"}, {"a" : 2, "ar" : "وَٱلْقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلَىٰهَا", "en" : "And [by] the moon when it follows it"}, {"a" : 3, "ar" : "وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلَّىٰهَا", "en" : "And [by] the day when it displays it"}, {"a" : 4, "ar" : "وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰهَا", "en" : "And [by] the night when it covers it"}, {"a" : 5, "ar" : "وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا بَنَىٰهَا", "en" : "And [by] the sky and He who constructed it"}, {"a" : 6, "ar" : "وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا طَحَىٰهَا", "en" : "And [by] the earth and He who spread it"}, {"a" : 7, "ar" : "وَنَفْسٍۢ وَمَا سَوَّىٰهَا", "en" : "And [by] the soul and He who proportioned it"}, {"a" : 8, "ar" : "فَأَلْهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقْوَىٰهَا", "en" : "And inspired it [with discernment of] its wickedness and its righteousness,"}, {"a" : 9, "ar" : "قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن زَكَّىٰهَا", "en" : "He has succeeded who purifies it,"}, {"a" : 10, "ar" : "وَقَدْ خَابَ مَن دَسَّىٰهَا", "en" : "And he has failed who instills it [with corruption]."}, {"a" : 11, "ar" : "كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِطَغْوَىٰهَآ", "en" : "Thamud denied [their prophet] by reason of their transgression,"}, {"a" : 12, "ar" : "إِذِ ٱنۢبَعَثَ أَشْقَىٰهَا", "en" : "When the most wretched of them was sent forth."}, {"a" : 13, "ar" : "فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ نَاقَةَ ٱللَّهِ وَسُقْيَٰهَا", "en" : "And the messenger of Allah [Salih] said to them, \"[Do not harm] the she-camel of Allah or [prevent her from] her drink.\""}, {"a" : 14, "ar" : "فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَعَقَرُوهَا فَدَمْدَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُم بِذَنۢبِهِمْ فَسَوَّىٰهَا", "en" : "But they denied him and hamstrung her. So their Lord brought down upon them destruction for their sin and made it equal [upon all of them]."}, {"a" : 15, "ar" : "وَلَا يَخَافُ عُقْبَٰهَا", "en" : "And He does not fear the consequence thereof."}]}
